General Data Protection Regulation changes and DreamApply

We hope you are doing well. The purpose of this post is to provide you with information regarding the upcoming changes related to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) approved by the European Union in 2016, that will enter into force starting in May 2018.

The General Data Protection Regulation affects the entire society, every enterprise, organisation and authority, and gives people more control over the information they provide about themselves.

The main purpose of the General Data Protection Regulation is

  • facilitate cross-border business by harmonising European Union legislation
  • offer new opportunities for providing a better service and
  • make organisations more transparent

More information about the changes can be found on the European Commission home page HERE
