When an applicant requests deletion of their account or DreamID, DreamApply does not immediately delete the applicant account. Instead, it creates a data deletion request that an Administrator must review and confirm.
Data deletion requests are displayed in the Data protection > Right to be forgotten section. Once an Administrator confirms the request, DreamApply schedules the permanent deletion. The account, along with all associated data and resources, is permanently removed within 24 hours during an overnight cleanup process.
Before you begin
To confirm deletion requests, your account must have the Superuser role or the data-protection permission.
Confirm requests
To confirm an applicant’s right to be forgotten:
- In the main menu, under Data protection, select Right to be forgotten.
- To the right of the applicant account, click Delete account.
You can revert data deletion before the scheduled cleanup process begins. For details, see Recover data.
