Request DreamID deletion

If an applicant wants to completely remove their presence from all DreamApply systems and portals, they can request to delete their DreamID. This action permanently deletes the DreamID record itself and all accounts linked to it.

When an applicant requests DreamID deletion, DreamApply removes the DreamID from the https://id.dreamapply.com/ portal and creates a data deletion request to remove the applicant account linked to the DreamID, including:

  • Applicant account and its metadata
  • Application data and uploaded documents
  • System resources that DreamApply creates to support application management, such as priorities, offers and interviews

DreamApply does not remove invoices that an applicant has received. They remain in the system to comply with bookkeeping regulations.

If the same DreamID is linked to multiple accounts (for example, a personal account and a child account), DreamApply removes all linked accounts and their data. This ensures the DreamID owner’s presence is fully removed from the system.
