DreamApply allows you to create one or more ranking lists in the Rankings view. Each ranking list can have its own filters and selection logic. For example, you can create dedicated ranking lists for specific programmes, academic terms or applicant groups.

In DreamApply, a ranking list is built around offers. DreamApply presents offers as individual entries in the list.

When an applicant adds a programme to their application, DreamApply saves the selected programme as a priority and creates an offer for it. Initially, every new offer gets the Unreplied type. As the application progresses through the admission process, Administrators update the offer type to reflect their evaluation decision.

Calculate the ranking score

The Score column in the Rankings view displays the ranking score calculated for each offer. To calculate ranking scores, DreamApply uses scores from scoresheets that are further processed using the rules defined in the evaluation criteria.

When analyzing ranking scores, you can:

View the calculation breakdown
Add extra points
Recalculate ranking scores

Before you begin

To work with ranking scores, your account must have the Superuser, Admissions administrator or Academic supervisor role or the offers-scoring permission.

Make offers in bulk

To make offers to multiple applicants at once, you can run the Send bulk offers tool in the Rankings view. This tool allows you to process both manually selected offers or offers selected automatically by DreamApply based on existing offer quotas.

Upon processing offers, you can:

Save the results to review and finalize them later
Immediately send out offers to selected applicants

Before you begin

To run the Send bulk offers tool, your account must have the Superuser or Admissions administrator role or the offers-confirm permission.
To use auto-selection, you must configure at least one offer quota for the academic year.
