Fathom Analytics is a privacy-focused analytics platform that provides insights into web traffic without complex setups. Institutions can host their Fathom instances in the cloud or use the Fathom Lite version to deploy instances on-premise and gain full control over their data.
To integrate with Fathom Analytics, perform the following tasks:
DreamApply does not require user consent to send data to Fathom Analytics. Fathom Analytics does not use cookies and collects aggregated, anonymous data that does not identify individual users.
Before you begin
- Set up a Fathom instance in the cloud or on-premise.
- To integrate with DreamApply, your account must have the
Superuserrole or theinstancepermission.
Get the Fathom site ID
To connect to Fathom Analytics, you need to obtain the site ID for your Fathom instance.
- Log in to your Fathom instance.
- In the left menu, select Sites.
- Make note of and copy the site ID.
Configure integration settings
To connect to Fathom Analytics:
- In the main menu, under System, select Settings.
- In the Analytics settings section, under Fathom Analytics, specify the obtained site ID.
- At the top of the form, click Save changes.
View reports
Once the integration is set up, you can view reports directly in Fathom Analytics to monitor key metrics such as user traffic, engagement and pageviews.
