To automate workflows, it uses &lt;strong&gt;Zaps&lt;/strong&gt; &amp;mdash; simple connections between two or more applications that run automatically when certain events occur.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Each Zap consists of a trigger and one or more actions:&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;ul&gt;
&lt;li&gt;A &lt;strong&gt;trigger&lt;/strong&gt; is an &lt;a href="#dreamapply-events"&gt;event in DreamApply&lt;/a&gt; that starts an automated workflow.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;An &lt;strong&gt;action&lt;/strong&gt; is a task that Zapier performs in a connected application. For example, the action can add a row to a Google sheet, update a user record in HubSpot or send a notification to Slack.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;/ul&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Once you set up an automated workflow in Zapier, it runs automatically in the background. No manual input or monitoring is required.&lt;/p&gt;</description></item></channel></rss>
